Thomaston Grammar School's Carnival-Themed Fall Fest
This year’s annual Thomaston Grammar School Fall Fest was awesome! The carnival-themed event, which was sponsored by the Friends and Family of TGS group, had a wonderful turnout. Approximately 150 children attended along with a parent or other family member. There was a photo booth where students and their friends and/or families could get photos taken by Principal Riley. Families had a great time using the backdrop and props to make it look as though they were at a carnival. From there, students were able to play a variety of games, and keep playing until they won, in order to earn some fun prizes. There was a balloon artist who put on a spectacular show midway through the event. He even transformed some TGS students into things like a butterfly and a viking. He also made marvelous balloons creations for each child who attended the event. Students could get their faces painted. There was free fresh-popped popcorn for all and baked goods and cotton candy for sale for those who wanted it. There were also some great door prizes. A fun time was had by all!
