Hello TGS Community,
 
On Oct. 10 at 6:30 there will be an Educational Talk on Student Led Conferences with a parent group all4tgs meeting directly after.
 
These educational talks will be offered on a monthly basis and it is a welcoming response to parents desire for more information about TGS. Susan Stillwell has arranged meetings throughout the year in an effort to connect with parents and the community.
 
The tentative schedule is:

December 5 - Internet Safety for Parents - Laurie Walsh

April    10 - Standards Based Grading – Sue Watts                                    

May     8 - 8th grade Larry Schooley and Guidance from Oceanside
 
The parent group all4tgs meetings are not mandatory for attending the talks. It is just a way to cut down on family outing time. We do however, welcome any who would like to be a part of this group. We are hoping to create and provide TGS staff and students with encouragement and support.

Permission for Minors to Participate

§ I permit my son or daughter, ______________________________________________, to participate in TASA activities. In the event that I cannot be reached in a medical emergency, I authorize treatment for my son or daughter.  

§ I understand that s/he may be involved in volunteer and community service projects, enrichment activities, workshops, field trips, outdoor activities and other programs under the auspices of TASA.
