2014 Fall Festival
FALL FESTIVAL |
|
Lura Libby School held its annual Fall Fest this past Saturday. The event was organized by the Friends and Family of Lura Libby group. There were many family members of students, staff from the school, students from Oceanside West, and other community members who volunteered to help make this event a success. The day featured two shows given by "Tricky Rick" the magician. Students left wondering, "how did he do that?" There was an outdoor obstacle course. Many students completed the course multiple times to try and beat their record. There were multiple outdoor carnival-style games like a ring toss and pumpkin croquet, to name a couple. Each student who attended received a pumpkin to decorate. There were multiple craft stations. Snacks were provided. There was a spooky sensory room for those who dared to enter. There was also a family photo booth area so that families could have a memory of the day. Students received a goody bag before leaving the event, and many door prizes were drawn. It was a fun family event for all who attended. The Friends and Family of Lura Libby would like to thank the following business for supporting the Fall Fest: Flagship Cinemas, Thomaston Grocery, Hannaford, Rock City Coffee, Dunkin Donuts, Beth’s Farm, Dena’s Barefoot Book Nook, Clay Brook Landscaping, and Domino’s Pizza. |
