2015 Lura Libby Luau

Lura Libby Luau

On Saturday, March 21st the Friends and Family of Lura Libby School held its 2nd annual Lura Libby Luau event from 9:00 a.m. until noon.  There was light snow that fell throughout the luau.  The luau was the perfect distraction from that.  Approximately 150 people attended the event.  There was a touch tank from Mid-Coast Children’s Museum, a room with various games, an arts and crafts area where attendees could create a fish in a bottle, a fish decoration, get their face painted, and enjoy a snack.  There was a photo booth where families could dress as though they were in Hawaii and have their photo taken.  Photos will be sent to them as mementos of the event.  There were beach themed door prizes as well.  It was a wonderful family event.  Everyone had a great time.  We are lucky to have an excellent parent group at Lura Libby School to plan these fabulous events.
