On Thursday, March 18th we celebrated Thomaston Grammar School students for their hard work during an unusual school year. They have done an amazing job this year! They have had to wear masks, be at a distance, and adjust to new procedures and routines, and they have done a fabulous job. To honor them we made March 18, 2021 Student Appreciation Day here at TGS. We had special events for K-2 in the morning and 3-5 in the afternoon, much like a winter field day. These events were outside and included: a scavenger hunt, corn hole, disc golf, a relay race, an obstacle course, a photo booth, and a snack station. In addition to fun events, students were provided with hot cocoa from Thomaston Dunkin' Donuts and snacks that were donated by members of the Friends and Family of TGS group. There were raffles as well. Prizes were donated by Green Leaf Roofing. It was a super fun day for all!
